Tipping Point, Tulane University's fundraising concert, is set to take place on Nov. 1 in New Orleans and will feature performances by Jimmy Vivino, Tash Neal, George Porter Jr., Cyril Neville and more. 

Next month, Brooklyn Bowl will host Where It All Began, a celebration of the life of guitarist Duane Allman and the Muscle Shoals sound that his Allman Brothers Band helped shape, led by guitarist Scott Sharrard, former musical director of Gregg Allman’s solo band.

Roger McGuinn and Steppenwolf's John Kay reprised their famous soundtrack songs, and in some cases extended them while the movie took a time-out.

The 50th anniversary presentation of the classic film, featuring live musical performances by such original soundtracks artists as John Kay, Roger McGuinn and Peter Stampfel, celebrated the achievement of the film's producer, co-writer and star who died last month.
